My name is Don. I am the owner/operator of a small business in metropolitan Phoenix. I am writing this recommendation for Barry Lewin and his law firm. I recommend him highly without qualification. As a small businessman I work with manufacturers, distributors, landlords and employees. These relationships create recurrent legal issues. Mr. Lewin has acted as general counsel for my business by handling these problems for the last few years.
Mr. Lewin has counseled me about issues in connection with my lease, advised me how to protect the name of my business from confusion created by a competitor, and assisted me in securing advice from a realtor, an accountant, and other professionals.
I work at my business 6 days a week and talk with my customers a lot. Many have come into my store for many years and are quite loyal. I have referred several customers to Mr. Lewin for problems ranging from malpractice and other personal injury claims, to how to best apply for social security disability benefits.
All the people I referred felt Mr. Lewin treated them well, saw them promptly, and gave them answers in a reasonable time. I know he did some of the work for free to help the people who needed his help.
When I talk to other people who know Mr. Lewin, they commonly express surprise when they learn he is a lawyer. What I'm saying is he doesn't do the kinds of things which give lawyers a bad name. People who have known him a long time never thought he acted like a lawyer.
I would recommend him to anyone.

I have assisted Barry Lewin on several medical malpractice cases as a consultant and expert witness including depositions and court trial testimony. Mr. Lewin is very knowledgeable, clearly explained the Arizona State Statutes as they apply to nurses, and proved to be very helpful when preparing for testimony.
Mr. Lewin and his staff are very organized, always helpful with questions, and prompt to return phone calls. With other firms, last minute record reviews or missing documents required for deposition or trial testimony are a frequent hurdle. This has never been an issue with Mr. Lewin's office.
Complex medical issues as they relate to malpractice cases can be convoluted and subtle in nuance. Mr. Lewin readily grasps the nursing and medical issues within my case reviews making my job easy as I convey the applicable standards of nursing care.
